CCA Virginia

CCA Virginia is part of the national Coastal Conservation Association. As such, CCA Virginia is governed under the CCA National bylaws which sets certain standards and requirements for record keeping, accountability, policies, and procedures. As part of the national organization, CCA Virginia is duly registered to do business in Virginia as a charity. IRS recognizes CCA as a charity as defined under the federal tax code section 501-C(3). The Virginia State Corporation Commission requires regular updates as to the elected leadership and financial results of the Association.

The CCA Virginia state office is located in Providence Forge, and is staffed by David Nobles, CCAVA President.

Officers

All CCA Virginia state officers volunteer their time and typically donate their expenses in service to CCA. Officers are elected annually by the full State Board. Any officer or director must be a CCA Virginia member in good standing.

State Board

In addition to the officers listed above, the following individuals serve to help govern CCA Virginia. They serve for staggered three year terms and may serve multiple consecutive terms. The names are listed alphabetically by last name from left to right, then down.

The first group is comprised of our honorary board members. These are community leaders that have lent their support to CCA Virginia but who do not have time to actively participate in governance of the organization.
